Who We Are

University Research Co., LLC (URC)

University Research Co., LLC (URC) is a management consulting firm based in Bethesda, MD. Founded in 1965, URC has demonstrated technical capacity improving TB control and prevention strategies globally by strengthening health systems, implementing quality improvement methodologies, developing clinical and programmatic policies and guidelines for TB and MDR TB, integrating HIV and TB services, and supporting the expansion and improvement of DOTS.

In addition to the project’s core partners, the TB CARE II consortium also includes the following Technical partners who contribute their specialized expertise in areas such as laboratory strengthening, information technology, or commodities management to supplement and assist field programs and global activities:

TB CARE II Core Partners

In order to accelerate TB implementation in high burden countries, the TB CARE II project has formed partnerships with a range of different types of implementing partners. The project’s Core partners, Partners In HealthJhpiego and Project Hope, along with URC work with national partners to design and implement long term field programs, as well as contribute to the project’s global leadership objectives.
